  A beautiful space - private and tranquil. We greatly enjoyed our family weekend away - lots of cricket on the grass and swimming in the waterhole. The kids loved feeding the fish and also playing hide and seek in the beautiful gardens. Highly recommend.

  There aren't enough adjectives to describe this place but I'll give it a go... Daintree Secrets is unbelievable. We couldn’t believe how amazing it was. It was so serene, so relaxing, so spectacular. You really get a sense of how ancient and special the Daintree is when you are actually sleeping in it. I cannot recommend Daintree Secrets enough. Katherine was super responsive to any questions I had, everything was easy to find and, as I said, what a place. We hope to return one day. Thank you for having us.

  We absolutely loved our stay at Daintree Secrets. From the moment we arrived, the sound of the waterfall took our breath away. We knew we’d have private access, but nothing prepared us for having a waterfall literally right off our deck—it was magical. Our 5-year-old was in heaven spotting frogs, birds, and even a turtle. The house itself was spacious, spotless, and full of beautiful timber features. The whole place felt so peaceful and serene, a true retreat in nature. We’ll definitely be booking again for next year—this place is unforgettable.

  We really enjoyed the flora and fauna on our doorstep and were lucky to see a Cassowary dad and two chicks not far from the house. Convenient location for exploring Daintree.

  This place is amazing! The swimming hole under the waterfall of clear, drinkable water was gorgeous. I’m usually the least likely to get in the water but couldn’t resist it in this place. Also really appreciated was the well-written and complete book of things to see and do (animals on the property, restaurant recommendations, croc tour guidance). The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils, salt, oil and vinegar and we found everything we needed for fixing a simple dinner.

  The sound of rushing water is right there from the moment you arrive. The driveway down is on the steeper side but then you’re in a private oasis. Superbly set out kitchen, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms and fabulous deck overlooking the river. It was an oasis of peace

  What a hidden gem! We loved being able to start our honeymoon here, total serenity and perfect place to disconnect from the outside world and reconnect with loved ones! We would love to visit again in the future and bring our extended family!

  This place was absolutely magical! When we first got out of the car, we immediately heard the rushing water, & with the beautiful surroundings, felt like we had stepped into a fairy land. Pictures do not do this place justice! Great place to explore Daintree area from. We had fun doing all the Daintree stuff, & also enjoying/exploring the property & swimming in the water hole. So relaxing! It was amazing to see what they’ve done with being totally off the grid. That of course comes with a few quirks, but that’s to be expected, and the setting makes it totally worth it! We lost power once, but that was due to an issue with the backup generator, & not a normal thing, & Katherine immediately took care of it. She was responsive & so helpful & accommodating right from the time we booked. The beds were extremely comfortable, and we loved the “rain” shower. Kitchen was well equipped, and everything was clean. Highly recommend!

  Amazing house in a slice of heaven. You honestly couldn’t find a better place to stay if you tried. Only wish we could have stayed longer. Having your own private pool to relax in was wonderful and we enjoyed the off-grid element. Played lots of games and watched some dvds in the evening. We all agreed it was the best accommodation we have EVER stayed in.
