Misha warmly welcomes you to her beautiful property
situated in the heart of the Daintree Rainforest. Only two
hours from Cairns and 20 minutes drive north of the Daintree
River, this house captures the true essence of this spectacular
wilderness…
The aim is to make your stay something special…something
that will be remembered forever. When you arrive you will
be greeted with the beauty of the lush tropical rainforest
and provided with fresh clean linen and a wealth of activities
to do. However, you may find that you only get as far as the verandah which is surrounded by tall lush green rainforest
with giant palms, draping vines and iridescent blooms…You
may decide to take a swim in the deep crystal clear waters
of Little Cooper Creek which flows right in front of the deck.
Teeming with wild jungle perch and having fresh mountain drinking
water… `Halwyn’ has one of the most beautiful
private swimming holes in the rainforest!
Halwyn is fully furnished with three bedrooms
(2 Queen Beds & 2 Singles Beds), 2 bathrooms, open plan
living/kitchen area and with a large scenic verandah. Your
linen is provided along with tea, coffee, condiments and a
fully equipped kitchen.
The house has a TV, DVD and CD player along
with a library of DVD’s and CD’s for your enjoyment.
There is also a selection of books and games.
On the property there is also a double lock
up garage, which caters for a boat if you would like to bring
one!
Activities in this area are plentiful and include gentle
walks (the beach is 5 mins. away), industrious hiking,
guided nature trails, crocodile tours, swimming, sailing,
snorkelling, scuba diving, reef fishing and much more.
